Program B — Performance (6–8 Weeks)

  • For handlers who want more than “good enough.” This program develops high-level obedience under pressure — whether for sport, working roles, or elite household standards.

    • Working-line breeds (Malinois, Dutch Shepherd, GSD, etc.)

    • Sport prospects (KNPV, PSA, IGP, obedience trials)

    • Dogs that know basics but fall apart under distraction

    • Handlers who want precision, not just compliance

    • Owners preparing for future protection or advanced performance training

If your dog struggles with fear-based reactivity or household instability, start with Program C (Behavior Reset) first.

  • You’ll see:

    • Reliable obedience under moderate to high distraction

    • Clear engagement even around environmental triggers

    • Structured leash and off-leash obedience progression

    • Stronger handler-dog communication under pressure

    • A dog that works with you — not just for food

  • Advanced Obedience

    • Engagement in high-distraction environments

    • Precision Sit / Down / Place with duration

    • Structured heel (formal and functional)

    • Long-line recall progression

    • Threshold neutrality (doors, vehicles, public settings)

    Drive & Impulse Control

    • Controlled arousal transitions

    • Structured tug with rules

    • Clear on/off switch development

    • Neutrality around other dogs and movement

    Environmental Stability

    • Parking lots, sidewalks, stores (where appropriate)

    • Elevated surfaces, novel environments

    • Traffic neutrality

    • Public exposure under structure

  • Weeks 1–2 — Assessment & Calibration
Confirm foundation, tighten engagement, clean up obedience mechanics.

    Weeks 3–4 — Distraction Integration
Introduce controlled environmental and movement stressors.

    Weeks 5–6 — Pressure + Precision
Increase distraction, extend duration, refine handler timing.

    Weeks 7–8 (Optional Extension)
Proofing in complex real-world environments or sport prep layering.

    • Initial performance evaluation

    • Weekly private sessions (1:1 handler coaching)

    • Structured homework plan (clear reps, duration, environments)

    • Text support between sessions

    • Video review when needed

    • Long-term progression roadmap

    This is not random reps.
    This is deliberate progression.

  • This program requires:

    • Consistency

    • Short daily reps (10–20 min)

    • Calm leadership

    • Willingness to be coached

High-drive dogs don’t need more stimulation.
    They need clarity and structure.
